Two images from the Lake Fayetteville Trail. They have been working on a large section of the trial and it is great. By my watch, it has increased the trail length by 1/2 a mile. About six and a half miles around the lake. Saw two snakes on my last run. That makes three already this Spring. Watch your step. I enjoy trail running and this is my favorite place to run. I have run around Lake Fayetteville in pouring down rain storms, hail storm this spring, snow and just good old rainy days. I cannot say enough about running in the rain. All I can say is get out. The older you are the better. Next time it is raining, take a walk. Walk down the street. Stomp in every puddle. The best thing about running in the rain on trails is the mud and streams. There is nothing that can make you feel more like a kid then being outside in the rain. Get wet. Get muddy.
